I am a business traveller who often travels alone for overnight business trips. As a woman safety is my biggest concern. When I walked in to my room after check in, imagine my horror when I found someone ALREADY IN THE ROOM. The staff assigned me a room already assigned to someone else. Needless to say, no more Towneplace Suites for me.... EVER!

Top Local Tips for Dearborn

Don't miss this Put the Henry Ford Museum at the top of your list! Need a full day for the museum and if planning to see Greenfield Village, need another full day. We tried to do both in one and could not do either justice. If only time to do one or the other choose the museum. Incredible!!!

Greenfield Village & Henry Ford Museum Plan most of your day for Greenfield Village. We enjoyed especially my 14 year old son the baseball game that is played @ 1:30 p.m. on the weekends. I would say allow at least a half of day for the museum. Both are wonderful. It was a wonderful weekend getaway. I also would recommend the Henry Ford Estate tour. Very interesting.
