you get what you pay for any motel in battle creek under $50 or $60 is going to be similar to the day's inn in quality. unfortunatly the chain motels are vastly different here from elsewhere in that the quality is very poor unless you pay top dollar for a nice hotel/motel. i would only pay for one night or request to see the room first.
