Lots to do in Allen Park If you are staying at the Best Western Greenfield Inn, there are so many attactions within 10 minutes drive. There is the Henry Ford Museum, IMAX Theatre, Greenfield Village, Fairlane Town Centre shopping, Ford River Rouge vehicle plant tour, Detroit Metro Airport and the newest big box shopping centre in Detroit.

Taekwondo Junior Olympics We were not real sure about going to Detroit but our trip was wonderful. Best Western was very easy to find, everyone was pleased with their rooms and Ford Field was easy to get to. Other then going to our event I was very content to just sit in the Gazebo and relax while the kids were in the pool.Our service from the staff there was better then I've ever had anywhere. Amanda made all our reservations and Best Western is blessed to have her working for them. She was the nicest person I've ever done business with... Can't say enough about this place and we would recommend them to anyone . Truly hope we can go back there again one day. Thanks to everyone at Best Western,you made our trip a very pleasant one......

village and museum Don't try to do both the museum and the village in the same day - the village is HUGE - and pay the money for the ride pass - it includes all of the 'rides' in the village which is one of the best ways to get around - they all offer on and off stops - this includes the train, model T, horse and wagon, onimbus, and the carousel. Take a good break for lunch and then see some more in the afternoon.
