Great stay before flight home

We stayed here for one night before an early flight the next morning. We arrived by the subway and called for the free shuttle, which came very quickly. The hotel was very clean and a nice size room. The room was very comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly. Our flight was too early to take advantage of the free breakfast (started at 6AM) but they gave us a paper bag with a breakfast "to go" consisting of an apple, bottle of water, granola cereal bar, and a muffin. This was a nice gesture. Shuttle was quick and efficient, even at that time of the morning. We would stay here again before and/or after going home. I don't think I would stay here for an entire visit to Boston just because you have to take their shuttle every time you want to go to the subway. Overall, a very nice place.

Great value

We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service offered and the cleanliness and superb condition of this hotel. We stayed 1 night after our trip to Europe using their fly & stay program which gave us a weeks parking included in the price.
Additionally, we used the free shuttle to and from the airport as well as to a local Italian restaurant. Service was fast and the wait at the airport fairly short. We also used the shuttle to get to the local T station for a quick trip into downtown Boston.
The pool looked nice and the gym area small but adequate. If it wasn't for the fact that we had reservations at another hotel in Braintree for a couple of nights we would have considered just remaining at the Hampton Inn as the commute into Boston would have been quicker for us on the following days.
The morning breakfast which was included had not only pastries, but cold cereal, sausages, biscuits, fruit, bagles, hot potatoes and numerous other items.
To cut down on the luggage we needed to take with us to Europe, we packed a seperate bag with items just for Boston and checked it at the front desk for a week with no problems.
We will return to this hotel on future trips to the Boston area.

Great hotel!

We stayed here for 2 nights either side of a fly-drive holiday to the US. We had stayed before as part of a Virgin Holiday.
We found the facilities to be excellent. The pool was great; beakfast was superb. The shuttle service is good, and will take you to the airport, local restaurants and the train station.
We will stay again!

Wonderful shuttle service and great breakfast

My husband and I stayed here over the Labor Day weekend and we were very pleased. The shuttle service was great and at times almost to fast!! The breakfast was great, inc normal cont. plus a choice of eggs and sausage or waffles every day. The rooms are spacious and clean. The front desk staff was a mix of very helpful and a little confused. If you decide to have a refridgerator it is NOT free, I was never informed there was a cost.(it is $11 per day).

Good Value-location not ideal

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Boston Logan Airport for four nights. The hotel was extremely clean and had a fantastic continental breakfast. The location was not ideal. A shuttle had to be taken to get to the subway which was time consuming. The Hampton shuttle service was very good at being prompt when called for a ride and the drivers were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel as being a good place to stay for a reasonable price.

Accomodated a mistake

We were delayed by weather on a flight and called to tell them, and to verify that they would have a shuttle. Everything was fine. When we arrived at Airport, called the shuttle and was told our credit card didn't go through and res. was cancelled. We had been issued new credit cards (previous ones were compromised) but thought we would resolve it at checkout. Our earlier call was not passed on that we would be arriving etc, just a mixup. Finally management reinstated a room (even though they were sold out) and sent the shuttle. We weren't happy (tired etc), but accepted that we had a room. Otherwise it was okay. It is not close to airport, but shuttle helps them keep the "airport" name.

Good service

Stayed for 1 night before our flight home. Room was comfortable and well equipped.
The shuttle service is very efficient and we found especially useful the free transport to 2 local restaurants. We chose the "grill" one (can't remember its' name) and had the best ribs ever!

We were most impressed with the accommodation and excellent complimentary breakfast.

We took full advantage of an early morning dip in the pool before breakfast and could have also used the gym which was open at 7 am.

The free shuttle bus to the 'T' station is great but you need to have some change or a mobile to call to be picked up if you are returning quite late.

We first stayed at the hotel two years ago as one stop on a Virgin tour and liked it so returned this time when booking our trip over the internet.

Things have improved and it is such good value. I am sure we will return.

My wife and I visited Boston to take in the historical sites and were very impressed with our stay at this Hampton Inn. Being from the south, we were apprehensive about friendliness of folks in the Boston area before departing home. The staff at the hotel and all locals we crossed paths with were wonderful folks. The hotel itself was very clean, the buffet breakfasts were great, the room was large and inviting, and the free shuttles to the Wood Island Subway station and airport were wonderful. We flew into Logan Airport and took public transportation everywhere we went during our five day stay. We would definitely stay again at this hotel. It served our purpose quite well.

This hotel is very clean and has decent facilities (although the exercise room is a little hot). The breakfast gets boring if you stay there more than 2 days, you'll get fed up with those donuts and bagels. The location is not nice, it is an industrial zone right next to a divided highway. My view outside the window was of a factory. The elevators are very slow. One thing I liked was the "breakfast bags" lined up on the front desk every morning - they contain an apple, water, bagel, you know - breakfast stuff. It's pretty good to take along with you as you leave the hotel in the morning. Overall this hotel is OK, no surprises or major bad aspects.

Top Local Tips for Revere

Transport to Boston Not much todo in Revere but 5 mins from subway. Free shuttle to subway when ever you need it. Subway runs till midnight. Only 3 stops from Quincy market. Weeks pass cost $15.00 and can be used any time.

Not great neighborhood Do not exit the T at the closest T station. Exit at the Airport--safer place to wait. Shuttle service more prompt, even though the other T station is 5 min or less from hote.

The Mass Transit System Works! But You've Gotta Do Your Homework!! If you do your homework and plan well you will not need to rent a car, and you'll hardly ever require a taxi..
