Pretty good

Stayed at Comfort Inn Logan Airport from Dec.30,05 to Jan.1, 06.
We were worried at first, due to all the negative reviews about the hotels. But the stay was very good. The room was spacious, clean area with modern washroom equipments. The hotel staff was friendly, and the decorations, although not extravagant, was very warm and pretty. For the continental breakfast, there were waffles, cereals, fruits, bagals, danishes, juices and coffee...of course, don't expect it to be a 5-star restaurant dining experience.
It was overall a good stay...but be aware of the hidden costs though! We made two 1-800 calls with a long distance calling card from the room, and they charged us 95 cents each! (And they only tell you that at check-out!)
And there's a $3 charge to cross the tunnel to get to Boston...so every time when you want to drive over to Boston, it's at a $3 cost (believe it's $4.50 for taxi)

With the word "Airport" in it's name I expected it to be a little closer than it was, but we were next to the Necco factory which is kind of neat. The neighborhood is a little dicey with an adult bookstore on the next block. If you are going to take advantage of the shuttle, make sure you have the number of the hotel with you when you arrive at the airport and you must call them to pick you up at the correct concourse (which escapes me). If you do not call the shuttle will not even pull into the loading area and will drive on by, even if you jump up and down and wave your arms (at 1:00 in the morning).
This was definitely a "green" hotel which begged you to reuse everything. Towels, sheets, toilet paper (just kidding, about the TP that is), turn that water off! Actually a very smart thing they do is to have dispensers for the various liquid personal products in the shower and at the vanity. They claim it saves 500,000 little bottles a year and really we didn't miss them. After a 4 day trip we only had so much room in our bags for little bottles.
The staff was not overly attentive, but the breakfast lady did make sure the juice machine was fired up a little early for my pregnant wife. We misread the breakfast start time- on weekends the breakfast is serverd a half hour later than during the week and since we had an early flight we didn't get to sample the breakfast.
I reserved a room with one queen bed, but we ended up with two doubles. I wasn't sure at the time so we just kept it but feel they should have known.
The pool looked nice (though a little small), and the breakfast area was clean. So was the room. The temperature in the room was kept at a good temperature with minimal noise. There was a smoky smell at one point in the hall, we think it may have come from the washers or dryers in the guest laundry area (a nice feature). We alerted the staff and they insured us they would look at it. When we returned from dinner our room was still there.

Good Aiport Hotel for Short Stay

My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Revere Mass. The rooms are large. I think we had a suite. The hotel has won awards for being Envirnomentally aware. There is a display and a big banner on the wall attesting to this award. Our stay was pleasant. Be aware there are no little soaps or shampoos in the bathroom. It is in a dispenser on the wall. The hotel is about 3 miles from the airport,,,great for an overnight stay. There is transportaion to and from Logan airport 24 hours. It has a pool located just in front of the elevators,,When we arrived at about 6p Sunday night the resturant appeared to be closed. The breakfast is free and there is a lot to choose from fruit, ceral, etc...
Be aware that the temperature outside of your room is contolled and feels like 80 degrees...
The neighborhood where the hotel is located is ok, not great but ok. The front desk staff was pleasant and overall the experience was good..I would reccommend.

hotel itself is exactly what you expect from this sort of hotel. clean, good service, nice rooms.
only real problem is there is little in the surrounding area. metro station is a 15 min walk away although you can catch the free airport bus and catch the metro from the airport.
wouldn't stay again, but not because of the hotel, just would rather be closer to downtown boston.

The comfort inn use to be one of my favorite hotels during my visit to Boston. I was highly disappointment with my next visit this past March. Things have changed for the worst. The TV is now on a timer. When you turn it on it cuts off every 45 minutes. This was annoying and very distracting.While watching and enjoying *POOF* the TV cuts off. I had to turn the TV back on for the rest of the night every 45 minutes for the rest of night that I watched it. The Heating Unit does the same thing. It's seem like the hotel is more concern about saving energy than having happy customers.
The business center use to have free internet and now it doesn't. As a matter of fact, the businees center isn't really a business center anymore. No fax machine, no printer, no phone, nothing.
The only good thing about the hotel was the free breakfast and shuttle ride.
I will never come back again.

We spent one night at the Comfort Inn after arriving on a late flight at Logan. After we partially unpacked we flushed the toilet and water started seeping from the toilet base all over the bathroom floor. We requested and got a new room. We had a "King Bed Suite" which was described as having a "partial room divider" and a sofabed. The crowded room contained a king bed and a sofabed. There were two approximately twelve-inch wide pieces of wood which came out from the wall and "separated" the king bed and the sofa bed. The breakfast the next morning was barely adequate and the kitchen help were surly and started clearing up the food before 9:30, when the breakfast was supposed to end.

We stayed in the Comfort-Inn LIA Boston some month ago. It was pretty cheap compaired to other hotels in the same category.
The room was big enough, was clean, as was the bathroom and had an fast and free internetconnection, which unfortunately left our computer with more Spyware than you can imagine... thanks but no thanks. Guard your laptop with a decent anti-virus software and anti-spyware filter + firewall before using their Internetservice. Breakfast was included and was everything you can expect for this pricerange (not exactly deluxe, but not bad at all).
Apart from that, it offered a free shuttle service to and from Logan Airport.
The let-down of this hotel was its location, which was a bit remote. It states it is close to two T (subway) stations, it is. But it is still a 15 mins walk from the hotel. That is not so bad, however, you have to go through either a remote (business) area, so not a living soul after working hours, or through a rather shabby and according to the hoteldesk unsafe area.
Best is to choose to go to the Wonderland T-station and via the remote business area.
So for exploring downtown Boston, it is maybe not ideal or one should rent a car (but that is far from ideal for trafic reasons), but for business purposes, if you want a hotel close to the airport it seems good value for money.

Stayed here 3 nights during january. It was very cold, about -5 degrees, but the hotel was warm enough to let you forget about the cold weather, especially the indoor heated pool, that was great swimming and looking at the snow in the outside. The room was clean and spacious. The free breakfast was great espcially the waffles and the staff was friendly. There is a shuttle leaving the hotel every 1h1/2, toward the airport, but no shuttle to the T station as advertised, it can take to the T airport station or any place on his way if you ask the driver. In general this hotel offer the best value in the area.

stayed here for 11 nights end of june to 9th july 04. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Used the T from Revere beach a few times - was not very keen on the revere beach neighbourhood during my walk from the T to the hotel (about 1/2 a mile) . We hired a car for part of the holiday and used it to park at Wonderland T during the 4th of july to go into Boston for the fireworks display (a fabulous experience) - we had excellent service on the T for one of the busiest nights of the year. We had tried to use the hotel's shuttle bus to take us into Boston for the 4th July but was told at the desk by a very rude member of staff - it was too busy to take us to the airport T line !!!!!!!!!! The free breakfast was good and as everyone says try the waffles - it looks complicated but the instructions help you all the way!!!!! The staff were average but could have been a little more friendly. Pacini's restaurant was not up to much if you are used to good italian food you will be disappointed. There is a nice restaurant not far from the hotel (turn left our of the hotel and left again by lappens auto parts and it is across the highway ) 99 restaurant - very nice food and good value for money.

I stayed here in early July as part of the Park N Fly package. The hotel was very nice, clean, modern etc..
The amentities were not as advertised though. Was supposed to be internet in the room, apparently it was not offered in our room. We booked directly through the hotel at $199, what type of room did we get ? Was supposed to be a shuttle to the subway, did not exist. The people behind the front desk were very helpful but there was too few of them. Only two girls working and everytime we went down there was a lineup and the phones were ringing off the hook. Needed more people working.
I would not recommend the walk to/from the subway station after dark. It seemed like a questionable neighbourhood so I asked an MBTA worker if it was safe he said "a lot of gangs hang out here, and some of them like to go pop pop, if you do the walk dont wear any jewelery." He recommended going to the next stop and getting a cab after dark.
The worst part was the hotel shuttle. We waited for very near an hour after we called the hotel was told the shuttle was on the way. In fact we called several times and saw other hotel shuttles pickup severla times while we waited. I think its a very nice hotel, but the amentities are not as good as advertised anymore. I reccommend finding another spot.

Top Local Tips for Revere
Transit tips From this hotel, you will mainly get the Blue Line train from the Wonderland Station, which is a 1/2 mile walk or a $5 cab ride. You can also take the hotel's FREE airport shuttle to the airport, and get a train there to Government Center. If you are going to be there for a few days, buy the 7-day Link Pass for $15 for unlimited rides on the trains, buses, and ferries. Also, upon return to Revere from the city, get off two stops before Wonderland (Beachmont)...the Patriot Cab Office is right across the street from the station and open 24 hours/day...and it is still only a flat fee of $5 to get from Beachmont to the hotel.
Not a Family Friendly Area The Area of Revere did not seem like a safe place to be out after 8 pm. It was also very dirty all around. Not a place to stay if you want to go to Boston.
Use it Driving boston is terrible, worst city I've ever driving in.
