I never thought that I would be displeased enough to write a review..BUT if I can save another person's vacation- I will. We have been visiting this area of P-town for 30 years and have enjoyed wonderful, clean, honest, and real "beachfront" lodgings. This place is none of these. We stayed there because we have a dog now and this is the only "beachfront" pet frienly listing. From the first impression of the disheveled office to the last, it was a very trying experience. This is just an idea of the rundown condidion of the room. The draw drapes were off the tract and the closer wand was in the corner. It took two people to open the slider and screen door. The left side of the beadspread trim was torn off, leaving shreds. The toaster didn't work. At 5 pm when we finally got a limited (didn't make the bed)housekeeping visit another toaster was brought to us..this one worked as long as you held the lever down. The bathroom had a light fixture on each side of the mirror. One had a bulb in it - one was an empty socket. This was done probably to hide the hanging mold..I have pictures. The deck area was nice and only 300 plus steps to the actual beach and after we replaced the broken chair we enjoyed it. We learned from our mistake... the dog is staying in the kennel next time!
