Stayed 1 night- hotel offers best location for sights and restraunts. Walking distance to all attractions and great view of harbor. The building however is in poor repair; chipped paint, mold on bricks.. Our bath had mold on the tile grouting. There were no towles or soap when we arrived, we then discovered the hotel-phone didn't work either. For the money there are better hotels in the area if you don't mind search for parking.

My husband and I stayed for one night, along with about 20 friends, all of whom were attending a wedding. Dusty; unvacuumed carpets; 1st floor carpets mildewed. Mold on walls. Some people slept in their cars to get away from the mold smell. Employees sprayed rooms with room freshener when people complained.

Top Local Tips for Plymouth

Must See! Dead of Night Ghost Tours offers an absolutely fascinating walking tour of the historic district, including Burial Hill. Learn about Plymouth's great folk history through a delightful storyteller. Adults should take the tour after dark. Bring your camera. Lively (but not scary) programs are also offered for children. This is a must when in Plymouth! Also check out The North Street Tea and Curiosity Shop. It is chock full of unique antiques, old collectibles, books, jewelry and tea. Everyone is sure to find the perfect keepsake here.

for breakfast.... Water Street Cafe is superb!

Day tour of Plymoth Plantation Don't miss this! They have native americans or their descendants showing how they lived in the 1600's, as well as people dressed as the white settlers who even speak like they did and roleplay as if they were indeed living in those days. You get transported to that era. This is nothing like Disney -- you see the natives actually hollowing a tree to make a canoe and the settlers baking bread in an outdoor stove. You can go into the natives' huts and the settlers' cabins, and they answer all your questions about their life in the plantation. A terrific experience for children and adults alike. Oh, and they have a regular restaurant where you can have anything from Succotash and Apple Pie to chicken and burgers. (I recommend the succotash!)
