T Line The T line is right next to the hotel - a quick five minute walk.
where to eat Eat at Blue Ribbon BBQ
Boston Red Sox Train Ride If you are willing to take the train to the baseball game, plan on it taking about 30 minutes one way. To get back and avoid the VERY long lines to acquire a train, walk to the Kenmore or Hynes station and catch the green line headed toward Riverside. Adds a few minutes on to your trip but will save you down the line so you don't have to wait to get on the next green train headed toward Riverside that has room for riders.

I had researched properties in the area for a safe place to bring our Westie and Scottie with us when we came to visit our newly-born grandson. It started out as a happy time. This hotel looked good--the picture made the hotel look flat and secluded--a perfect place to stay with dogs.
However, the minute we checked in, I became very nervous. We were told that the only floor where we could stay was in the front desk area and up a short flight of stairs--no elevator. We lugged our dogs in and settled in. When we took our dogs to the designated dog area outside, I warned my husband to be very careful when I saw the carefully manicured lawn on the many hills. There was no cement walk way for humans. The next morning when we took our dogs out, I was trying to walk to the wall near the back of the hotel near the parking lot and the next thing I knew I was on the ground with my leg bent under me. My husband immediately went to the front desk. They simply told me that they had nothing for him and directed him to a pharmacy. He loaded me into the back of our SUV and we went to our daughter's house where I stayed in the car reclined in the back as the pain increased. He brought me back to the hotel where we begged for a handicapped-accessible room near an elevator and a wheel chair. I stayed in bed on Saturday. We left for our 12-hour drive to Virginia early Sunday morning. No one checked on us during our stay. I had surgery when I got back to Virginia and started walking again Sept. 6. I had to email the hotel to get an accident report to file. Then I had to email Holiday Inn customer service to see if the accident report was filed. I was told when I emailed Holiday Inn customer service that someone would get back to me in 4-6 weeks. I had to contact them again September 29. I told them I would be at work from 6 am-6pm and that I was a teacher, so I needed them to email me or call when I was at home. However, an insurance agent called me at 3:50 Thursday and asked me to call back. I did. He did not answer the phone nor return my call. So I called customer service again on Friday in between classes. I was told Stephanie would be the one to talk to, but she never took my call nor returned my call. I called the insurance agent also. He hung up on me. I found his email address on the internet and emailed him. He said that he would send me a rejection snail mail. I am really disappointed in the lack of customer service.
