I drove by and thought oh, just another motel. But, something said, "Go in." I am so glad I did. We had a wonderful stay and yes, I agree with the other review, it is so deceiving. There are five buildings, a grand stretch of grounds...so well landscaped and a big pool. We stayed in the Main Lodge...walked through their back path to the beach and ate dinner right on the beach. We stayed for three nights, taking in the ferry trip to Martha's Vineyard. We walked everywhere, which was nice with the gas the way it is. The room was clean, clean and had a big flat screen tv. We enjoyed a little breakfast before we started out our day. I can't say enough about it. It isn't your average motor lodge.

Great location...so clean!

It is a hidden jewel. Deceiving from the outside, there are actually five buildings. We stayed in the Grande House, the one closest to the beach. It was terrific. Our room was so pretty and we had a balcony. Plus, we left our car parked for the four days we were at the hotel. We walked to everything!
