Great location, great for families, old but clean facilities

This is tops for families. Edgartown Commons is casual "motel" style hotel right in the heart of Edgartown. Edgartown accommodations are mostly much more expensive so we were pleased with the Edgartown Commons' rates. The hotel has a playground on site as well as kitchenette facilities (in at least some rooms) and coin-op laundry on site. We had minor complaints like an old mattress but even with a creaky night or two, teh price was great, the walk to town and easy access to our room was priceless and the kids loved the playground. We would definitely go back.
