Nice swimming pool

This hotel is not bad. It has a good location on Memorial Drive. There's a Trader Joes in the parking lot, which serves as an upscale convenience store for food items. The best thing about this hotel is a small but decent indoor pool, which I loved, when it was open. But the first time I stayed there, it was closed and I was very disappointed. From now on, I know enough to call first and make sure it's in service.

I usually stay at the Charles in Boston, but on the occasion you refer to it was unavailable. Hence I stayed at the Radisson, and was comfortable in doing so. Good pricing, good concierge, and clean rooms. No problem. I ate in the hotel and found the Japanese restaurant welcoming but the food poor. Main problem: links to Cambridge central on a regular basis, lack of taxis at three times during the day - really irritating - and then no ATM in the hotel. In general a satisfactory stay, but in emergency only. With better transport and easy access to city links, the Raddisson would be attractive beyond simple emergency accommodation.
