A small, newer hotel, well-located in an old building in a city in which we've lived and worked and visited frequently. The room was inviting, tastefully furnished, and immaculate. The linens were luxurious and the entire hotel had an attractive, understated, European flair. We loved it!

Wow!!!!

from AtlantaKoko
My family and I stayed at this brand new hotel for 4 nights (12/7 to 12/11/2004) and it was wonderful. A small and cozy hotel with professional staffs that are eager to help you with any problem or issue you may have during your stay. The decor is very modern and innovative as well. Especially the fireplaces they have in the lobby is quite interesting.

The free internet access inside the room and at the business center was a welcome sight to make nightly checks on my emails and conduct research online.

Great job!!!

All trace of the cops is gone

from Taisteal
This may have the old police headquarters in Boston, but not a trace of its forensic past remains. The gorgeous building has been transformed into a stylish, comfortable, friendly, home from home in Boston. Located in the Back Bay area, just behind the John Hancock Tower, it is steps from everywhere.
The bedrooms are well fitted out with very comfortable, feather-topped mattresses. if you can't sleep here, you can't sleep anywhere. Staff are very friendly and everyone seems to do everything.
Dinner at the Stanhope Grill is a must, or even breakfast. Bostonians seem to have discovered Cuffs Bar and it is lively, even at the weekends.

Jurys Is A Hit

from L52094
Stayed for 2 nights, one for business the other for vacation. I can't wait to go back.

I was very impressed with the ammenities, huge plush cotton towels, Aveda toiletries, down comforter and pillows, very comfy bed, nice robes, even an umbrella in the closet. Gorgeous fabrics & furnishings. My room was on the small side, but the luxurious appointments more than made up for it. I also highly recommend the waffles for breakfast, I think they were the best I've ever had!

I would recommend trying this hotel.

A beautiful and unique hotel

from CapeC
We stayed at Jury's for a weekend in Boston, and Wow - it is exquisite. The decor and amenities are first rate in every respect. The hotel restaurant looked terrific, too, but we ate somewhere else. Next time we'll just go downstairs. Jury's is not cheap, we paid about 240$ before taxes, but compared to other similarly priced hotels in Boston, I'd say it was the best that I know.

Great place

Service and staff was absolutely excellent. Rooms are very nice with upgraded amenities. Stayed here for business and would highly recommend. We did extensive research and found this to be one of the most affordable places. Nice breakfast buffet for $16.00. good location.

s is a superb hotel

from Angie-travel-junkie
We have just returned from touring New England, our trip included a three night stay in Boston at The Jury's Inn. The Hotel is superb, the quality of the furnishings and decor is excellent as is the cleanliness. The towels were changed twice a day and when we came back to the room in the evening it had been tidied , the bed turned down and soft music was playing. The reception staff were friendly and extremely efficient as were all the staff. the hotel must rank as one of the best in Boston, I would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel to anyone, enjoy the luxury!

Excellent Hotel, but.. watch out for valet parking!!

from A TripAdvisor Member
We just had gotten back from PR, and YES.. Storm/Hurraciane Jeanne spoiled most of our vacation. So, we still had a few days off and booked 3 more nights at Jurys. New property in the neighborhood.. And something about staying at a former Police station was, well.. U know.... The hotel is absolutely beautiful.. The room was magnificent. The bathroom... wow. Shower glass stall, separate tub, bathrobes, and the shower has a little surprise..... The beds, you get lost in them. The food, outstanding. The French Onion Soup,, ooollalla... Room service outstanding. The burgers downstairs, fat and juicey. We had a car for two nights only. I even informed the doorman and valet guy that the car was no longer in the premises. At check-Out time, there was an extra $34.00 added to my bill.. Well, I said that was incorrect. And the attitude was like I was lying. I live down the street!!! The valet company is not owned by the hotel... blah, blah, blah... I got the account straighten out, but I almost paid the $34.00 just to get it over with. When I got home, 5 minutes later, I did call and spoke to a manager.... She offer free dinner, free drinks.. I said. NO thanks... I will be back, but I will be walking like I should have done right from the start...

Great time at Jurys Boston Hotel

from Peggy21

My husband and I just returned from a weekend in Boston and stayed at the Jurys Boston Hotel. After reading the the good reviews on tripadvisor I booked the reservation and was not disappointed. The location was ideal close to the T and shopping at Copley and Newberry st. The rooms were adequete in size and one should be out and about in a town like Boston and not holed up in your room! The check in was friendly with Claire and the bellman told us about the restaurant Skipjack just a few blocks away that was fabulous. And after walking all day to come back to your room with a wonderful bed to snuggle in was lovely. Both the room and bathroom are nicely appointed in soothing colors and the heated towel rack was a plus. We had room service both mornings and though the menu is not extensive it did take only 10 minutes to get to us. We will definitely be back.

is still out!

Disappointing say. The hotel is very new and is in places not yet finished ( walls not painted, missing panels etc.) The fixtures in our room were showing signs of coming apart (Draps hanging of the rail which was losse to the wall)

The bar is very popular with the locals, especially at the end of the "office" day. Consequently when you descend as a hotel guest, you will be lucky to find somewhere to sit, and even more lucky to get decent service.

Got a wake up call at 7:00am which we did not request, and when explaining our concerns to the front desk, they were totally not interested, they did not even respond to our comments!!

We valet parked our car, and whilst waiting at the door for our car to be returned, the young man waiting to escort us to the car, began explaining how he was tempted to take some of the better cars for "a spin around the block", "infact I may just do that one day" he continued...not with my car, we will not be back!

A fabulous new hotel in Boston, good location, great service, excellent restaurant and elegant decor. Very smart but very friendly and welcoming to our family of four.

Top Local Tips for Boston

Trolley Buses Although these were good, they are expensive and we found after one trip we were able to find our way by foot,

Ride the subways Purchase a subway pass, a fantastic and affordable way to get around.

Good inexpensive seafood Somebody from Boston recommended 'Legal Seafood' for good inexpensive seafood. It is a chain of restaurants which were really very good. We eat there twice and it was excellent both times.
