There was a mouse in the room. I went to complain. the front desk was helpful enough, and moved us to another room. We were not offered any type of discount for our trouble and not able to check out early to get our money back. Other than that, good location and alright breakfast in the morning

Top Local Tips for Boston

Leaving the airport Talk to the information booth at the airport. They gave us a map and exact instructions on taking the subway (T) to our hotel. A free shuttle at the airport takes you to the T station and the T is super easy to use. It cost $2 each and we were at our hotel faster than a cab would have got us there during rush hour. Super helpful people, don't be scared to ask.

No Duck boat for us We talked to several people who said they did not feel they got value for money with the duck boat. We took the Boston Tour Trolley which included a Harbour tour. We only paid $23.00 but we could get off and on the trolley all day so were able to go to the Cheers pub and have a few drinks and then hop back on to see the rest of Boston. The Harbour tour was very informative, We also went to see the Red Soxs and advise people to take the T (subway) as parking would have been a nightmare. As the owner of www.singlescanada.com I found a lot of great bars filled with singles and they said get to Boston as they have a lot of eligible single guys and girls

Porter's around the Shawmutt Inn Good bar food, very comfortable bar to sit at and watch sports.
