I left the hotel on Sunday afternoon and realized that I had left my watch on the table in the room. Instead of going back up to the room I decided to use my cell phone for a watch. When I returned to the room later that evening I did not think about the watch. On Monday morning when I was getting ready for work I could not find the watch. I remembered that I had left it on the table the previous day and had to use my cell, but I thought that I might have, absentmindedly, moved it when I came in the previous evening (although I did not think so). I was late for work so did not have time to look for the watch. When I returned to the room Monday evening I looked for the watch. I checked under the table, check through the garbage, checked around the chair cushion, checked under the chair, pulled up the cushions on the couch, checked under the couch, dumped my purse and work bag out on the bed, checked under the bed and checked the pockets of the clothing I had worn the previous day.
