The Dirtiest Hotel in the World

I have travelled many times to the third world and have never seen any hotel so filthy. The entire hotel smelled like mold. The bedding was filthy, dirty and stained. I had to sleep with my pillow wrapped in an old T-shirt and my pants on so my flesh would not touch the sin covered sheets. Cigarette butts litered the front steps. No towels were available. I pre-paid for two nights and left after the first. This is truly the most rotten hotel in the universe.

No matter how small of a budget you are on, this place is not worth it. I just spent a day at the clinic being seen for bed bugs and pinkeye that I got from the filthy farrington. The sheets were nt only not fresh- they had fresh stains of bodily fluid on them and were sprayed down with cheap cologne. What I saved in money I lost in health, time, medical bills, and prescriptions. Bad place, bad management, bad location. Honestly, it should be shut down by the department of santitation.

Top Local Tips for Boston

USS Constitution Don't go on Mondays - it's closed! Having travelled 3500 miles I was a little disappointed to find that this great attraction takes a day off during the week! I know these things need to be cleaned and spruced up after a hard day hosting tourists, but what about after hours? If HMS Victory (the worlds oldest commissioned warship) can do it, so can the good ol' Constitution!

Subway The 1st thing you should do when you arrive in Boston is purchase a Charlie card (you can purchase them even in newsagents) for $15 you get unlimited subway access for 7 days which is a bargain considering each individual subway trip cost $1.75, it saves you a fortune.

Charliecard Get the $15 week long charliecard (ticket), it's valid all over the city on both buses and the tube. It's usually $2 for a single journey around but even within two days of my stay I had used about $20 worth of trips!
