I found this hotel listed on the internet as I was needing a room to stay for one night after vacationing in our country (Azores Islands) My husband and I found it to be very quiet, it had a very very comfortable HEAVENLY BED! It felt as though we were sleeping on a cloud. Though we stayed on the ground floor, we didn't hear any street noise like most hotels have.The breakfast was excellent. Another best thing about this hotel was that we were given easy instructions before we left for our vacation as what to do to catch the FREE SHUTTLE VAN from the airport to the BW Roundhouse Hotel and again back to the airport the next morning. Also the night receptionist clerk was very courteous and helpful.We have highly recommended this hotel to our friends as well as to our travel agent who now will be making reservations for her clients passing thru Boston. It's really not far from the airport and it sure beats paying 3 to 4 times more to stay at the major hotels nearest the noisy airport! Our only regret was that we didn't get to enjoy the spacious room due to our early flight back to California. We will be back soon!

Top Local Tips for Boston

Stay in a good location Try and find a hotel by or north/north east of the Prudential Center on Huntington Avenue and explore the city by foot from there. It's a beautiful city with great character and history which can all be experienced relatively easily on foot as the city is quite compact. Also, the nightlife isn't great during the week however if you are out during the week then head out to Fenway Park if a game is on, it's guarenteed to be pretty busy. Shopping is best done in the Prudential Center and on Newbury Street which if you walk all the way east on will lead you to Boston Common, huge park, lovely to lay in during the summer.

Duck Tours The Duck Tour is good. Especially if you get Sven the Viking for your driver.

Save on Prudential Tower If you want to go to the Prudential Tower, it has a great history of Boston. But, if you just want the view, instead of paying the $11 per person admission to the Prudential Tower, take the elevator one floor below the observation deck to the Hub, and spend your money to have a drink/appetizer there instead and still enjoy the same view.
