Looking for great lobster? Avoid No Name Restaurant -- head for Rockport My son and I spent two days in the Boston area this weekend seeking on a seafood quest. I had lobster at the Union Oyster house (Boston), the Roy Moore Lobster Co. in Rockport and No Name Restaurant in Boston. The lobster at No Name was steamed, but when cracked released no liquid at all. It was fairly warm, not steaming hot, on the outside but COOL in the inside. The meat was dry and overcooked. Not very sweet. I wonder if they cook these guys in advance and then dip them in boiling water before serving! Very disappointing and I definitely expected more from this old landmark restaurant. To their credit, they took the lob off the bill. The Union Oyster House lobster was excellent -- far better than can be had in Chicago. However, the lobster at the Roy Moore Lobster Co. in Rockport was ethereal. We sat outside (no inside seating) in the cold and devoured the lovely thing. So absolutely delicious we forgot the butter and the cold wind. This was a life experience.

Getting around Boston Take the public transportation. The city is much like Paris with no logical grid for driving so it is much easier and safer to take the "T". It was clean and safe.
