After suffering a house fire, my family was left with the option of staying at the Best Western for two weeks as the insurance company began the process of repairing the damage. While at the Best Western, I became the victim of an in-house robbery. My jewelry box and its contents were stolen by one of the staff members and when I reported the incident the manager & he was very unprofessional, gave erroneous information, did not show up for the meeting to discuss the matter and has yet to try and resolve the problem. To make things worst he lied about having a no-liability for lost items sign on the inside of every room. Since I was there for two weeks, I had become familiar with the contents of the room I knew there was no type of sign. I explained to him that the sign was not there, I am a keen observer and I would have noticed that. When I went back to meet with him, the young Latino woman at the front desk confirmed there was ""no"" such sign.

To make matters even worst---The one of a kind jewelry box was placed in a black carry-on bag, hidden away from plain sight. The unscrupulous staff member(s) went through my things to find it. At no time did I leave the box out while staying at the hotel. The only others with access to the room were the hotel cleaning crew. When I explained this to the manager he began to remark that they have never had a problem like this before, well while we were there the incompetent staff also gave out our key to another family who was in process of keying into the room while I was there, and they had left open the door after cleaning only to be discovered by my family hours later. This again is from the impeccable staff. If I were you I would rather stay at a hotel with customer care ethics. It's not worth the low-budget prices! PS LEAVE ANYTHING VALUABLE AT HOME!!! And in case of a fire--I would rather take chances with the contractors and cleaners entering the house (which is why I had it with me in the first place) then the staff at this Best Western.

Parking at Metro Dont bother with the shuttle van, take your car to the metro station and park it. It is free on Staurdays and Sundays, and if you park at the lot across the street and walk a little, it is only $4. Good luck

Access to the Metro The hotel has a shuttle bus that transports guests to and from the metro station. It runs every hour, on the hour from 8am to 8pm. The interesting thing is that the day the shuttle bus went in for service, the hotel paid our cab fare to and from the metro, their choice. They really put the customer first.
