Top Local Tips for Cambridge

Access to the city from the site Be really careful departing this site! It is directly on Route 50, a very busy highway, with a high speed limit. There is no highway crossover, so to go back to town, you have to turn away from town, cross 2 lanes of highspeed traffic, and make a U turn, across 2 more lanes of high speed traffic, to be headed back to town. Don't let any small children or animals out the front door of the hotel without positive control over them!

Cambridge Diner rocks! The Cambridge Diner, located directly across Rt. 50 from the Days Inn, has an extensive menu and great prices. Service was prompt and friendly, and the owner seems very hands-on. We ate there twice and had two great meals! At lunch they accommodated a special request and gave me a shrimp salad with fruit to remember! In the evening we had seafood (scallops and rockfish), which both were fresh and tasty, with generous portions. As long as you are able to run across the highway, you can get to the diner without having to drive from the Days Inn, which then allows you to have a cocktail!!

Cambridge MD Love eating crab at the Ocean Odyssey on Highway 50. Accommodations up the road in Easton seemed much more attractive than those in Cambridge.
