I attended a symposium at this hotel. First off, I discovered the racism that exists amongst blacks to other blacks. The hotel "sales manager" would not allow a black symposium to take place even though the symposium planners were up front with them from the get go. I had things shipped to the hotel for the presentation, signed by hotel "security" to find it stolen or "missing" when I arrived. I was lied to by the desk staff, the concierge, the sames manager, security and various other individuals employed at this location. They stated the symposium was cancelled. It was not. I was told by phone and in person. So...if you want to be treated like scum of the earth--by all means stay at this Marriott. I know I will NEVER stay at any other Marriott as long as I live.
