Top Local Tips for Saco
Great deals Saco is in the middle of Portland and Biddeford, two of the best cities for shopping, it is also only about 40 minute drive to Kittery outlet center. The old country buffet in Portland is a great place to eat and is very cheap.
It's the staff If you're looking for a great hotel, look to the staff. This hotel had awesome staff who were helpful and always went above and beyond. Rooms are clean and well kept. I've stayed at more expensive hotels and been disappointed not because of the accommodations but because of the staff.
Not Many restaurants There are really no restaurants in the immediate area. We had to leave the hotel and then follow Industrial Park Road up to the main road (don't recall the name) and if you make a right there are some fast food places. If you make a left there is a grocery store down a ways and if you go further there is an adorable new diner called the Rock and Roll Diner.
