Parking Lot Tight There is plenty of parking, but it can be tight for oversized cars.

NOT FOR FAMILIES! NOTHING TO DO!!!! We went to Shreveport because of the things to do listed on their website. Many museums and attractions and riverboat rides seemed like a great weekend getaway. WRONG! Since we arrived on a Saturday we assumed there would be much to do. Nearly all the museums in downtown close around 3:00 pm and the whole area appears to have been deserted. You could drive for several blocks and not see a single person. Everything is so run down. We looked and looked and got many brochures for tourists, but we very disappointed there was nothing to do. I never saw the river boat either. Shreveport is NOT the place for families under 21. It is only geared for people who wish to eat/drink/gamble. Period.
