I booked with this hotel for M.Gras becuase of their 48 hour cancel policy. I had to cancel and do so within thier guidelines. They still took the entire amount of the orignal stay from my checking acct and now are trying to claim that after I reveiwed their terms and conditions on their website, that they sent me a confirmation email with "special events" terms, which I have and there is no "special event" cancellation terms. I am having to go through red tape to get my money back, and will probably have to sue them!!! Don't book this hotel!

I need to talk about parking, we did not have to pay for parking we parked in the hotel lot. The night person Robert was friendly, and quick with a smile. The hotel itself is perfectly located, we never even touched the car once we were checked in. we walked everywhere. All the staff was helpful and smiling. I can not wait to return, and I will be back in march.

The pictures are miss leading but the hotel staff is friendly and the room was clean location not bad for the price not bad parking is very over priced 18.00 a day it is a parking lot that should be for the guest it is behind the hotel who else would park there it came with the building we are your guest I don’t agree with charging for parking that is just wrong why have low rates if you are going to make up the difference with parking fees New Orleans is the only city I have ever been too I had to pay for parking where I stayed please review your parking policy for future guest but other than that I would stay there again.

I consider myself a very experienced traveller. With 18 Years of sales experience with 90% travel time per year, I have stayed in more than my share of hotels. The O'Keefe Plaza hotel was the first time in a long time I stayed somewhere where i felt at home. The Staff and Management took my requests seriously and really made me feel at home. In fact on Sunday, I watched the local football game in the lobby of the hotel on their Big screen TV and had a good time cheering on the Saints with the staff of the hotel. They call me by my first name and upon leaving was told i would always have a home at the O'Keefe Plaza. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!!!
