| Horrible Experience |

My fiance and I stayed at Hotel Le Cirque last weekend 8/25 and 8/26/06 for a music conference. We moved rooms 3 times because the rooms were dirty, they were under construction, or didn't fuction properly. A group of 3 of us were there and all of us were dissatisfied with our rooms and our experience. Guests were forced to walk through rooms and hallways under construction to get to the lobby. The front desk staff seemed uninformed and not terribly helpful. One lady didn't even speak English well enough to help us with our issues. The website offers free breakfast and terry cloth robes-neither of which they have. I am not insensitive-this hotel was not damaged by the hurricane and is simply choosing to renovate. I will never be back to this hotel and am so angry at the horrible service we received. I do not recommend! What a waste! |

| Rather european |

Room was small, rather european.
As a single woman I choose this hotel because there was supposed to be a restuarant. There was not. It had closed. The neighborhood was dubious. When I tried the restuarnt the desk man recommended, people went out of their to warn me not to walk those streets at night.
All in all it was not a pleasant experience.

| This place is a toilet! |

The hallways were filthy, the rooms were filthy, and the first room I was given had a toilet that wasn't working and hadn't been cleaned after the last guest had used it. Nice lobby. |
