For my 75 birthday, my daughter and two granddaughters took me to what use to be my favorite place but no more. One of my granddaughters found $40 on the floor and looking around didn't see anyone looking for anything lost. The girls stayed in the area just in case someone did seem to be looking. About 5 minutes later, one of the women security gaurds came up to my granddaughter and ask if she had foung some money on the floor. She told her yes and before any thing else was said the security guard told her she was a thief. Needless to say that guard would have gotten a dressing down that she would never forgotten from this grandmother if I had heard about it that night, but it was the next morning when I did and I went to the security people on duty and reported it. Then when I got home, I sent letters to the Hotel manager and the head of security to make them aware of the incident. Needless to say you would not be reading this if the hotel and security people had seen fit to apologize fo the incident ( the pit boss who was standing near when this happened did apologize for the woman's behavor after she left)they say they go the extra mile for their customers. I don't think so.

Well first the view when we drove up at night was amazing,the building was light up and so pretty. Then we checked in and everyone was so nice and helpful. Then when we entered our room it was breath taking,it was beautiful! and the comps were the best. It was a mother daughter trip and we went for some time away from the boys and we had so much fun! And the bunch was so good,we cannot wait to go back!

Horrible customer service. Do not waste your time or money here. I felt discriminated against and belittled by their security manager. Having roots in Louisiana, I have always defended the state when others say "it's ugly or the people are dumb or ignorant." Now, I know what they mean about the latter. I drove four hours to Lake Charles for a weekend of gambling and relaxation. Sadly, I was unable to enjoy either of the two.
