On Friday, February 9, 2007, we checked in to what we thought was a moderately price hotel. Upon entering our rooms, we found an unclean straightened up room. The restroom had live and dead bugs in the toilet and bathtub, and on the floor around the tub and toilet. Inside the tub was hair (different in color and texture), a blue solution was sprayed in the tub (cleaning solution, I hope) and left to dry, never wiped out. Carpets in rooms had not been vacuum, there was visible debris and trash on the floors. The table, dresser, television, nightstand and coffee pot were dusty and not cleaned. We returned to the front desk, clerk showed us at total of five rooms all in the same condition. We were informed that housekeeping was not on the premises nor was there a manager there, only the front desk clerk. We had to clean the rooms, in order to change clothes for the family visitation of the funeral. The desk clerk brought me towels and cleaning solution for me to clean the rooms, we stayed... Reeks of smoke and pets. Shows signs of significant neglect. Work crews roam throughout rooms without i.d., mold growing in baths and ceiling, hole in bath tub, exposed electrical wires, shoddy reconstruction. |
