I travel for business a lot. This trip I was with my wife and kids. We had just traveled from Atlanta and therefore everyone was very tired. We checked in around 9:30, put our bags in the room and went out to eat. We returned to the room around 10:30 I do not have asthma but began having asthma like symptoms. We checked out before midnight. I was told we would not be charged for the room. Yesterday I received my credit card statement and found I was charged full price for the room. Carpet is in hall is filthy and is becoming a trip hazard. Door to room would not open without a great deal of force. The Bathroom fan had failed so they just removed it. The humidity in the room was unbearable. The air conditioner cover was not on the unit when we arrived. The filter was caked with black mold. Removing the filter revealed the inside coil was completely blocked by the black mold. The health department needs to make an undercover, unscheduled visit to this place. I am sure they will agree this is an unhealthy place for anyone. I have stayed in many hotels of various quality and cost. This place is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at!
