Top Local Tips for Abilene

Nice quiet, yet suprisingly historic town after leaving the hotel the next morning we decided to take a look around town. We were surpised to find so many interesting historical points of interest. Did you know it was President Eisenhower's hometown? There's a museum and a memorial, and countless other museums around town. There's even an old abilene town if you're feeling like a cowboy for a day! Worth a trip!!

Just passing through. This is a town you basically just pass through on your way to your destination. However, everyone I met there was quite nice and helpful. If you need to stop, this is a good place.
