One unfortunate experience. We (my sister and I were treating my 91 year old Mother to a weekend with her old time friends in Colfax friends in her home town so Mom and I being from Minnesota met my sis from St. Louis in Colfax, Iowa to stay two nights . The second night the fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night which was a little difficult to be awakened twice not knowing it was a malfunction of the alarm system. Later that year we booked a family reunion at the same Motel and had a great experience, so we felt that was due to a new motel.
