Well located for business on campus. The hotel staff is not the best - slow, inefficient, and a few are not courteous. Public areas are okay - wear and tear shows in some areas. Rooms are satisfactory. I've stayed there on multiple occasions and the quality of the rooms varies from clean and functional to run down. If you plan to use the hotel shuttle, make sure it's in operation in advance. Also, if you have reason to call the hotel, prepare for long holds.

We were put in a smoking room when we reserved a non- smoking, there was great difficulty getting this corrected. Many of the services the restaurant had in previous stays were "discontinued".

slippery noodle Be sure to go a little early, before first band starts. You might enjoy having a sandwich and a few drinks before band plays. This way you'll have a great seat and really enjoy the music. We love this establishment, our server was great and staff were all friendly. This bar is so much fun, and the music is fantastic, great place, for a special nite out with your honey.... :)

Art lovers galore! A short taxi ride will get you to the Indianapolis Museum of Art, which is amazing! They have a very extensive African collection (although it goes into Oceanic, with no warning,) Asian collection and fairly impressive collections of American, European and Modern/Contemporary. Plus, fabulous food at the Wolfgang Puck restaurant. Near downtown and the IUPUI campus are the Eiteljorg Native American Museum, the Indiana State Museum and other historical societies, not to mention the Herron School of Art and Design on the IUPUI campus. Downtown hosts beautiful architecture, with the center sculpture/fountain that is not to be missed, not to mention the fountains and murals all along the gorgeous canal! Indy is certainly a clean, well-kept city worth exploring for much more than a racetrack.

Downtown Indy A quick shuttle ride from this hotel to downtown Indy, and you will be busy for hours. PLENTY to do, and all within short walking distance. Bonus: the hotel shuttle drops you off AND picks you up.
