The University Plaza Hotel is probably more suited for fraternity and sorority parties that for the business traveler. The restaurant was closed during my stay although a limited menu was available at the cocktail lounge. The room was not the cleanest I have stayed in (hotel is apparently old) and not comfortable. There really isn't a place in he room for work - the traditional "stationery desk" is not computer friendly. In fairness the hotel employees were very friendly and courteous and the food that was available in the hotel was better than average. In summary, though, it's not a hotel I would recommend for the strictly business traveler.

Great location for ballgames Radisson was a great walking choice for the football game--equally good for basketball

Make Reservations Well in Advance for Popular Events at Indiana University For hotels and restaurants, book early, especially for Graduation, Parent's Weekend, etc. We had to book almost 6 monhs or more in advance for some things. Also, take advantage of the scenery around Bloomington. One forgets to see the beautiful parks and lakes around Bloomington when visiting their child at school.
