I travel 2-3 times a year to Chicago to watch the Cubs play baseball. I love the proximity of the Majestic to Wrigley Field. The hotel was clean and neat with friendly staff. I liked the neighborhood atmosphere of the Majestic--It was almost like staying in a small bed and breakfast

We went to Chicago with our 18 yr old for a concert at the Riviera Theater. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Majestic Hotel. I loved the cleanliness and the linens in my room. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the toiletries elegant, like a nice English hotel. The music playing at the lobby was magnificent, and the breakfast very appropriate. The proximity of the hotel to the "action" was also welcome. Very nice place. I would stay there again.

Top Local Tips for Chicago
In a hurry? Take a cab, "L" and busses OK if you have time.
Take the El Don't let the cabbies tell you it's more reliable/faster/cheaper if they take you to the airport. The best way to get to/from either airport is the train and it is safe.
November weather... We have visited Chicago several times int he early part of November. Although it is often chilly, it is festive and the whole city seems to be getting ready for the holidays! Great time to shop and see the sights!
