Right downtown, just a short walk from the shuttle which delivers you to Navy Pier, the Lenox is serene and attractive. With perques like fresh fruit at the front desk, complimentary morning paper and continental breakfast, this hotel is a very good value. The staff are friendly, yet professional and attentive, and the rooms are clean, quiet and packed with amenities--like a mini-bar with comparatively low prices. My second night, I was dog-tired from a day of sight-seeing and just wanted to curl up in front of the TV, so I really appreciated the full kitchen. I walked just around the corner to the pizza place and returned to heat up my pie in a real oven. Almost as good as room service. I certainly recommend this hotel for the budget-minded or business traveler and I will stay here again on my next trip to Chicago.
