OK, so I was working and unable to spend much time in the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago. But I was totally impressed with ... everything. From the Mick Jagger room key to the rock history in the hallways. My room had a superb bath robe. Didn't want to spend the $100 on it, but I enjoyed using it. The pillows were monogrammed with the Hard Rock Hotel logo, chrome light fixtures, silk-screened artwork on the walls. The shower and bath area was impressive. The comforter was clean and attractive. The HiSpeed internet worked. The minibar had clear pricing, let me look the stuff over, and then decide if I was going to purchase. I've been to a lot of Hampton Inns, a few Hiltons, the Doubletree in Times Square, but the experience here was simply the most impressive ever. Can't say enough great things.
