Hidden Gem of Chicago

The rooms are vintage in this 100 year old club, but the rates are underpriced for rooms in the heart of the loop. The 8th floor dining room has a wall of windows directly overlooking Milennium Park "Bean". The chef has created a menu that ranges in club tradition and new gourmet. I stay here nearly once a month for travel.

Watch carefully where you park! The designated parking signs aren't that big...make sure you don't park in a handicap zone, or you'll be slammed with a parking ticket! They're superfast with such things! Don't let a parking ticket ruin your sightseeing!

Kids' fare on the El It's not well-promoted, but you can get a special discount farecard for kids on the El. Just ask one of the attendants.
