The room was Amazing! Every detail was procise from the elaborate paintings on the wall down to the linens on the bed. Hospotality or clenleness were above expetations. We loved our stay and hope to come back soon.

My husband and I stayed at the Black Swan Inn for our 10th Anniversary and it was all you can imagine and then some.

Great Room

We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room and it was fantastic. The latest electronics, comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub for two -- we really enjoyed it. Not really a Bed and Breakfast, though. The breakfast is either a fruit basket in your room or a coupon for the local Perkins restaurant -- somewhat disappointing.

Wonderful Night

I wanted to surprise my husband with a unique anniversary gift. I have always heard wonderful things about the Black Swan Inn but had never used its services.

All I can say is wow! What a wonderful night's stay! We had such an amazing time together and the room was the perfect place to spend it. The little details in the room made it feel special. We really felt like we were in our own world in the Mayan Rainforest Suite.

I highly reccommend, for any couple who needs to get away for some alone time, to use the Black Swan Inn. We will definately have to try out the rest of the wonderful rooms they have available.

My wife & I went to celebrate our 5th year anniversary at the Black Swan Inn in Pocatello, Idaho. The service was top notch. We stayed in the Romeo & Juliet Suite and it was incredible. The atmosphere in the room was amazing among its cleanliness. We loved it so much that we didn't want to leave. We highly recommend. We will definitely go back.

Fantastic, unique theme rooms

We stayed in the 'Mayan Rain Forest' Suite and were truly amazed at the detail and beauty of this room. Everything was perfect right down to the soap dispensers.

Upon entering this enchanting room we found the waterfall gently cascading down to the koi pond, soft music playing and romantic soft lighting everywhere. Words cannot do justice to the ambiance of this room.

We didn't want to leave the room to dine even though we were very hungry!

While relaxing in the jacuzzi (upstairs) we looked out at a rain forest complete with seemingly red lava flowing down a volcano. Amazing! We showered in a tree trunk!

We chose the continental breakfast rather than leave the room to dine out - why would we want to eat at Perkins when we can dine in our own private Rain Forest?

This is the most unique room we have ever stayed in and we hope to return and stay in all other 14 rooms. It was very clean (big deal to us), smoke free, pet free. PERFECT!

An absolutely beautiful place to stay. We had the pleasure of meeting with the owners and seeing most of the inn. Every room was better than the next. The rooms are so unique and wonderfully decorated that we were in awe of each one. The staff was fabulous and the service was excellent. We stayed in the Atlantis room. I can't say enough about this place. I wish it were closer so I could return more often. A true find in the area.

A wonderful romantic interlude

Based on the photos on their web site, my wife and I booked a night at the Black Swan Inn during a recent road trip. The Inn lived up to our expectations. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet Suite. It was extremely well done - nothing cheap - with first class furnishings and linens, and immaculately clean. The scenes painted on the walls were professionally done and complemented the theme of the room. For an lovely romantic evening, it is hard to beat.

The Black Swan Inn was absolutely wonderful.
We stayed in the Rocky Mountain Cabin Suite
and we were very happy with it. Everything
was very clean and just a wonderful atmosphere.
My husband and I were a bit worried about the neighborhood at first but it turned out to be just fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The bed was more comfortable than my own at home! The Jacuzzi was very nice for a relaxing vacation. I especially loved how there was a loft in our room and the breakfast food left in the room is a very nice touch.
The whole experience was great and we are definately planning to return someday.

My husband and I received a gift certificate for the Black Swan Inn for Christmas from my parents. we enjoyed everything about our stay. The room was very private and spacious. We stayed in the Black Swan suite and found it very comfortable. We were provided with snacks and breakfast the next morning. We cant wait to go back!

Top Local Tips for Pocatello

Best Italian in Pocatello If you are staying at the Black Swann Inn, take a trip down the street to Buddy's Italian Restaurant before you settle in. The food is awesome.

close to great outdoor activities The pocatello area, is within a few hours of driving to many great and wonderful outdoor adventures, (i.e., Yellowstone NP, Jackson Hole, Wy, Grand Teton, NP)

Good Italian nearby Diagonally, one block from the hotel, is a down home italian restaurant. The place is called Buddy's and was a little packed the night we ate there but we could see why in a matter of minutes. It's just a mom-n-pop place but pretty good down home italian. The roasted tomatoes and italian bread are a must, you just as well order them twice, one right after the first hits the table :)
