Relax and Enjoy!
My visit came in December when my husband and I were looking for a place to escape the hectic holiday pace and rat race. We were told about the Ashley Inn through friends who stayed and couldn't say enough wonderful things about it. The drive up there was memorable. The huge trees heavy with snow, beautiful! A white gazebo sits in the flower garden and I imagined my niece being married there someday. Third surprise was that we could board the Thunder Mountain train right from the Inn, which took us down the spectacular canyon. We loved it and took lots of great pictures from the open air car. Our room was cozy & comfortable with a sitting area in the bay window overlooking the mountains and a fireplace, and yet they said all their rooms are like that (or better!). My fourth surprose was the most amazing to m...Read more
