This is a fine hotel for those on a budget. It has a good location within walking distance of Ala Moana beach and the Ala Moana shopping center. It has good views. Also it is on a main bus line so you can go places. But this is definitely a budget hotel and not for those who want a luxury hotel. For me, saving that extra money allowed me to do more of the things I wanted to do in Hawaii that cost money--like taking tours and going to shows. I spent most of my time outside of the hotel anyway.
