They need to update the photos of the hotel because as I've seen, everything is all worn out and the pictures look nothing like how it looks right now. They also need to change your front desk workers cause they ain't got NO telephone skills. They need to pull whatever is up there out! Especially when people call and they sound like they don't wanna be there! Until they start doing their jobs and satisfy the needs of all customers, then I would give you one star.

Top Local Tips for Honolulu

Waikiki beach / Hanauma Bay / Ala Moana beach Go early. Early early early. As soon as its open to the public early. Especially if you want some place decent to spread your towel. In the height of tourist season Waikiki beach is so full of towels you can barely walk. When high tide comes up people start scooting their towels back until they're a row of sardines being picked off by the rising tide with their belongings floating away. Don't be a sardine. Use your time changed early waking habits to get there early and enjoy the few moments when the beaches are almost empty. Also, for those of you with really young children: go to Ala Moana beach park. Magic Island (on the left side when you're facing the ocean) is so calm kindergarten classes are usually herded into the water there (and netted like a school of fish).

Hawaii Railway In the years up to and just beyond World War II, the Oahu Railway and Land Company had an extensive rail network across the entire island of Oahu. The last remaining tracks are now owned and operated by the Hawaiian Railway, a chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. Train rides are offered twice each Sunday, and while narrated do not have any annoying "singing conductors." Those with an interest in the railroads of Hawaii will appreciate a few hours spent at the museum, located on Renton Road just west of Ewa.
