What were the kids there for? I'm glad for a place to mention this. I do not want to detract from my favorable review. There were some highschool kids at the hotel. They were pretty well behaved and they were chaparoned, so it was not bad. When I called from our room to express my initial concern, the clerk said that the staff was going to make sure that they quieted down. They were true to their word. Apparently the kids were going to be there until New Years (we were traveling on Dec 28). So why Macon? I don't know. It you have teenagers of the non-rowdy kind, maybe they can tell you.
