Okay, first the good news: the rooms are still relatively new, so no one's had a chance to ruin them completely. They are crummy, the beds are canoe-shaped, but at least the paint has not come off the walls. Yet. As for the rest, this is simply one of the nastiest, least user-friendly, rude-staffed and crummy piece of junk hotel I have ever had the displeasure to see in my life. As soon as I get there, I'm slapped with a pernicious pet fee of $15, per pet, per day, of which there was absolutely no indication in the confirmation e-mail I received (I issued a complaint to Super 8, and was told that It was MY responsibility to see if there would be a pet fee...). Breakfast was a joke. Three tables for about 50 rooms, a jug of coffee-looking gasoline, some cereal in a dirty dispenser and nasty, individually-wrapped crullers that will make you sick on sight. The hot tub gets turned on at the manager's discretion. It says it comes on at 6pm (if I recall correctly). At 7p,m we asked her to turn it on, and she acted like it was a huge imposition, huffing and puffing and letting us know that, clearly, the customer is always wrong. Speaking of the manager, she was very rude and clearly wanted to be left alone. For two days, I watched her walk around the hotel parking lot yelling orders to the poor maids in the loudest voice possible. She was simply the worst. In short, treat this place as if it has the plague. Don't make my same mistake and think you're saving some money staying here. You'll be slapped with unanticipated fees and you will not be able to have any kind of edible breakfast.

The Super 8 was located in just the right amount of travel distance from Daytona where bike week was held. It was priced right and did not require a certain amount of nights to stay.

Good shuttle service from airport and to cruise port. Nice breakfast buffet. Good location, clean, friendly, good staff.

Beautiful beaches St. Augsustine has some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Even though St. Augustine is know for its history, you should check out the beach. And if you come in Sept or May, the weather is fantastic and the prices are the best. We come several times a year and May and Sept are really the bargain months

Great restaurants. Go to the Oasis and the Beachcomber on the beach for a bite to eat, also the Sunset Grill.
