Hosting and Wait staff at Restaurants I have been in the area since 1987 and I can say if you receive rude service either snotty, catty, judgemental, immature or just plain ignorant, do not hesitate to let the management know either in the form of a letter, online review, corporate email or in person. A phone call might not be effective. I have never had more trouble than in this area and I including my trips to Latin America, East Coast and the Carribean. A business with terrible food will go under but bad service will ruin the entire experience. Tip the good ones. Get up and leave the bad ones. Contact the BBB for major issues for resolution. Always put something in the tip space on the credit/debit receipt like the tip amount, N/A, none, cash etc. Make sure you go back through your online statement and verify the draft is accurate for each purchase. I have seen double billing and creatively inflated tip increases. We must improve our professional contacts if we are to grow beyond our small town status limitations.
