Top Local Tips for Panama City

Area Attractions This hotel is located in the perfect place for shopping/dinning/sight seeing/beach visits. The Panama City Mall is adjacent to the parking lot at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites Panama City. Major department stores e.g. Dillards, JC Penney, Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, Best Buy, Target, etc. located within visual distance. Fine dinning e.g. Red Lobster, Chili's, O'Charley's, Golden Corral, OutBack, Ruby Tuesday, etc. all within a mile. Scenic Downtown Panama City overlooking the Bay area withing just a few miles. Panama City Beach and "The Strip"access approx. 10 miles. Panama City is reasonably priced. Not much difference in expense compared to other cities. Hotels & Condos/Attractions/Shopping/Food are more expensive as you get closer to Panama City Beach. The only thing I hate is that we didn't take enough money to experience everything that Panama City Beach/The Strip had to offer. As you travel, watch for pedestrians, motorcycles, scooters, and the police/security. Speed limit strictily enforced.

Panama City was a pleasure surprise. Check out the historic downtown area. Not far from the LaQuinta and lots of great little shops and eateries to be explored.
