Absolutely HATE the Maverick. All the people in the office were very hateful and unhelpfu Other workers were in hiding and rude. The location is notclose enough to Daytona Beach. Rooms are TINY, but pool area is large, with lots of lounge chairs, pool very clean. My husband thinks the place is stupid and not worth anyones time.Would NEVER go back to the Maverick!!

My mother father brother grandparents and I have had a timeshare at the Maverick for years. Every year we stay there we enjoy ourselves. Very clean, friendly enviroment- a lot of good memories have been shared at that resort. I love how it is rigth on the beach and it is an excellent value at an affordable rate. I have walked through some of the so called "fancy" hotels up and down the beach and would not trade what I have at the Maverick for anything else in this world. I enjoyed it as a child and enjoy it as an adult now with my own children.

Rooms are too small & they really need to do something with the floors...when you go out to the beach & come back in, it's really hard not to track the sand, when the faucet isn't working by the pool..... Also I'm not sure what the red light is for in the bathroom, I think they thought you could tan in there...This place really needs to be remodeled & made allot bigger.. So many other great places to stay...

River Grill The River Grill on the Tomoka on route 1 is a wonderful restaurant...the grouper is to die for!

Bring your toothbrush and swim suits!! I always overpack, but here all you ever need is a bathing suit, and general casual clothes.And sunscreen! Leave your stress at home and just relax and unwine!
