The staff was freindly enough and we were happy they offered us a discount when we left early due to bad weather. The room (floors) had a dirty feel to them. The "stocked" kitchen was not really stocked at all. The outdoor pool is small and does not have a shallow enough area for very small children who cannot swim. There are no children's channels on their TV's so bring your own dvd player.

Coral Beach Motel Stinks

My family and I recently had the opportunity to stay at the afore mentioned motel and our stay was not pleasant! The staff was unfriendly and rude. The room was smelly and dirty. Maid service was practically non-existent. When the maid did come she did a horrible job. The elevators in the motel were often broken and when operational they were so slow that often times I would take the stairs and my son the elevator and I would arrive at our destination ahead of him. There was a lady who worked in the lobby that tried to sell me timeshares. This motel also charges $ for ice. The number of icecubes dispensed from the machine added up to a about a handful. This motel is also somewhat far from the limited "action" of Daytona Beach. The small crappy pool is positioned in a way that it is entirely in the shade for most of the day (from about 1PM on).The small crappy indoor pool had so much cholrine in the water my son claimed his skin burned after using it. This motel offers no bar or restaraunt and when we decided to have a few beers by the pool at night they told us we had to go to our room because the pool area closes at 10pm. On top of all this, I feel my room was overpriced as well. Do yourself a favor stay away from this stinker of a motel. Spend a few more dollars a night go someplace cleaner and friendlier.
