The Taxis......................... Be choosey when choosing your taxis.... I'd say stick with the yellow cab company. Pay very close attention to the driver and the meter. I have been ripped off a few times, and have told other good drivers about it. One driver who has been driving taxis for 20 years gave me some good advice...: if you feel you are being cheated call the taxi company before you get out of the car and ask for a rate quote, also ask for the meter receipt before leaving the cab, that way if the driver is trying to overcharge you you can do something about it. Another tip he gave me....when you get in the car, give your destination and tell them "I only have this much money...(whatever you're willing to spend) then ask how close will it get me?" They usually will get you there no problem and not play games.

To the Attractions I lived in Orlando for 7 years and know a few secrets about transportation. Almost every taxi ride is going to cost you a minimum of 20 dollars. Many of the hotels offer transportation to and from the Airport and to and from the major attractions. I would highly recommend you take advantage of this. The traffic in Orlando is excruciating and who wants to spend their vacation sitting in traffic in 98 percent humidity? When you rent a car you are mostly just adding to the fuel shortage in America and adding profit to the bottom line of the Oil Companies. Do your part and enjoy your vacation more by taking advantage of the complimentary and low cost tranportation provided by almost all major Hotels in Orlando.
