| Great holiday |
|
We had a great family holiday. The staff were great, breakfast was great and there was so much to eat it kept us going until 2 in the afternoon. The pool was clean, they had plenty of towels also. We stayed in a studio, the housekeeper came every day to change towels, clean bathroom, and make beds. We could park our hire car around the back of hotel. We had such a great time we're going back next year. |

| We love those Jamison beds! |
|
This is our third time to stay at Springhill Suites in Nashville on Elm Hill Pike. We love the floorplan of the room and the beds were wonderful! We only have 2 complaints. There werer lots of marks in the carpet which needed to be replaced (e.g. cigarette burns. The other thing was for 2 nights out of our 3 night stay the people across the hall had 2 rooms with a room in between them. About 11 pm at night they would start in running back and forth between the 2 rooms, yelling rudely and hitting our door every so often. They continually slammed their doors. We never said a word to them or to the desk as it was already obvious they were trouble makers and would go further if provoked. This normally went on until at least 1 or 2 am in the morning! If we had called the desk, what would they have done to rectify this situation? These people were bold and obviously thought they could whatever they pleased with no regard to others. Thanks for your imput... |

| NO SLEEP AT ALL |
|
This is the worst bed I've ever slept upon. Its a foam mattress that weighs all of about 15 lbs and simply is covered with a fabric. Its a Jamison bed ... I don't know if that is their new Revive bed, but if so, I'll be cancelling my Marriott rewards (I stay with them roughly 30 nights per year). I've never experienced a situation like this either where they have all the same bed of poor quality.
The appearance of the property is nice. Its when you actually try to sleep that you realize there is constant noise (from the air systems? airport, maintenance?).
The room is spacious, but if you need internet, its wired ... and on the wrong side of the room in my case (had to stretch the cord accross the room to use on the desk).
There is no night light, so you must leave a light on if you need to get up at night. Unfortunately, because of the layout, the lights are quite bright and in your face as you sleep.
Won't ever stay here again. Marriott was of no assistance eith... Read more |
