It's really funny the way people are. With regards to the person who rated this place a 1. It's a home away from home resort NOT a hotel. You do not pay through the nose for this place as you would for a hotel. Which is why I assume you chose to stay here. Which is also why your room probably wasn't clean. You wouldn't dirt the crap out of your own house, so seens how this is your 'home away from home' why would dirt this one. It just makes me laugh, this resort is in no way expensive so I don't know why you would complain. We are Canadian, used Canadian money and it still wasn't bad. No wonder the service you received was dirt, you wanted something for nothing. If you want this kind of service, pay for it...try the Hilton!

Do not book a room at this resort! You'll get better service a 2-hour hooker motel than you will at Regal Palms. We stayed for a week and it was the worst. Twice we left early in the morning to enjoy the theme parks and when we returned later at night our room had not been serviced at all. When we complained to the front desk they treated us like dirt! For the amount of money they charge you would expect that they could clean your room and leave fresh towels. Stay somewhere else...

I stayed as part of a promotional package i bought under Summer Bay Resort. I satyed in a three bedroom townhouse. It had everything. Dining room area, dishwasher, washer and dryer... everything was new and beautiful, and very clean. What I enjoyed the most was the pool area which is kept very clean. The bar was very nice also. The bartender was the best!!

Top Local Tips for Orlando

Pot Holes Be carefull with the pot holes that cover the roads. I hit one myself and the bill will cost me $500 plus to fix. Watch your step.

Trip from airport We did NOT rent a car as the resort has a free shuttle to the major themeparks. Price around for your transportation from airport to resort. We found that a privately hired Lincoln Towncar was more affordable than a Taxi!

Order less food! Order less food at the Berry Town Centre take-outs than you would in England. Our "standard" UK order fed us for 2 1/2 days!
