Very enjoyable stay!!

Staff all over the hotel from reception to the restaraunt to the cleaners were very, very friendly, they done all they could to make our stay as enjoyable as they possibly could!
Beautiful rooms, cant fault them at all, spotless!!
Food in the Restaraunt was beautiful, very well priced as well.
We could book our tickets for the theme parks & water parks from reception which was very handy!
We would recommend this hotel to anyone!!

There was 9 of us that stay here and we all had a great time the bedroom were cleaned every day my step-daughter had a get time in the pool with her friends we are going back again next August.

Pool opens from 9am-10pm. Should open and close 1 hour earlier. Internet is rubbish. You can't read tv screen to check e-mails, ok to send messages. Was told you have it for 24 hrs. We paid from lunchtime and by breakfast next day it was stopped.
$10 for a fonecard at hotel (65 mins)reception or $15 from tour rep.
Breakfast- We got charged for full breakfast when my daughter had beans on toast & I had scrambed egg, hash browns & pancake. Evening meal was good.
Booked the bus to go to Universal studios. Had to stand the whole way. I did not think they could allow 9 of us to stand. It was only 10 mins on bus.
Golden Corral was good for meals which is across the road.

The Lobby looks nice, but not the rooms. They need to replace the blankets ( smelly, and old). The hallway and building needs big clean up.

My boyfriend & I stayed for 2 weeks in 2005.
Long flight from UK & mix up at airport meant we arrived about 3am tired and hot. My first impression of seeing our room was 'Oh God I hate it' but, we loved it. Granted, it's not the most modern, updated place but the room was lovely & air conditioned, we overlooked the pool which was lovely, shop was well stocked. Pub was nice and did gorgeous pizzas for under $10. Plenty of shops/bars/restaurants nearby.
We even enjoyed the evening thunder & lightening one night, sitting on our balcony with a beer & a pizza.
We intend to go again in 2007 and stay at The Quality Inn. Had everything we needed and after all, who goes to Florida to spend more time than in necessary stuck in their hotel room. Basic but brilliant !!

I took my family and would definately stay again. The room was cleaned every day, change of laundry every day. Swimming pool lovely. Food OK. Good location. I would stay here again. I found the hotel staff very helpful and although the shop was more expensive than the local shops, it was not too bad.

Nasty rooms

The rooms need better keeping & new sheets. The first night I got there I laid down on the bed and found myself smelling underarms smell on the sheets. The bathroom had pubic hairs all over the bottom of the toilet, and the rugs were filthy, I wore sandals the entire time. Then my friend came one night and got a room and had to exchange it . It smelled like cat piss. I will never stay there again. They should give my money back.

My room was overlooking the parking lot of the hotel as well as parking lots of fast food restaurants. Loud noisy parties went on in the parking lots until 2 in the morning. This was not very conducive to restful sleep at all.

WHAT A DUMP!!!!

We arrived for our first night in Orlando after a long flight to be greeted at the reception by 2 seedy looking characters at the hotel information desk who tried to sell us a time share somewhere as soon as we said we were not interested they also lost interest in giving us information!
We were given our key and set off to find our room the appearance of the hotel reminded me of a block of council built masonettes from the 1950s. Upon entering our room were very disapointed it looked like a prison cell the TV was older than me and the controls had something disgusting all over them and reception on the TV was terrible! There was a great deal of noise from outside as the windows do not give any sound proofing! The sheets on the bed are very old and grotty looking. My 13 year old daughter was in tears she was so disapointed. The final straw were the cochroaches !!! We stayed for one night only because it was too late to do otherwise and transferred to Disney Pop Century which was excellent !
All in All I would class this hotel as a Dump and would not reccomend it to anyone!!

The rooms were bad, the swimming pool looked nice, service was great, pub needs decorating and the beer needs to get cheaper and more entertainment is needed.

Top Local Tips for Orlando

Have fun! Plan ahead, don't hurry when you get there, enjoy. Take your time, take a break mid day, go back to your hotel for a swim and some food. Most hotels have a fridge so you can store snacks easily. Get maps, know where you are going. Explore the restauants, I loved Sweet Tomatoes and Ci CIi's. Go in September, less humid, and not too busy. Try something new, that you would not normally do! Save up your money so you can go back, once you've been you WILL want to go again and again!!!!!

Car Hire a car, its included with most holiday packages, petrol is chap and its easier than getting a cab or the shuttles, gives you plenty of freedom

Golden Corral and Ponderosa Everything you want to eat, any time of the day - both are fantastic value and great for fussy kids.
