On first impressions it looked amazing, and in the morning it still looked good. rooms were fab, our first room wasn't amazing, but we moved to a family room which was better than we had imagined. pools were fantastic, and the only complaint is the hallways. restaurant is what you would have expected of a high class hotel. it is in a great location, with quiet and peaceful gardens, but when you want a nite out, there are places north south east and west, with the worlds largest McDonalds right next door. another gripe is that the rooms don't look that good on the outside, other than that, this hotel is spot on!

"we stayed in dec03 after a 10 hr flight anything looks good reception looks good, rooms are clean, take you own coffee with you, as you only get one bag per day. Could do with a refurb of the bed linen though. But having said that sheets are changed regular, so are clean, would stay there again"

I was there for the last time until January of this year(2003),it was my second time there. Let me begin by telling you that, for me the hotel is the best hotel you can possibly find for those modest prices. Let me start first by telling you, that first of all, it's located in the best side of international Drive, just crossing the avenue, you'll find the Pointe Orlando shopping mall, over 13 movie theaters, hundreds of restaurants, even dinner shows, the orange county convention center.

Top Local Tips for Orlando

Have fun! Plan ahead, don't hurry when you get there, enjoy. Take your time, take a break mid day, go back to your hotel for a swim and some food. Most hotels have a fridge so you can store snacks easily. Get maps, know where you are going. Explore the restauants, I loved Sweet Tomatoes and Ci CIi's. Go in September, less humid, and not too busy. Try something new, that you would not normally do! Save up your money so you can go back, once you've been you WILL want to go again and again!!!!!

Car Hire a car, its included with most holiday packages, petrol is chap and its easier than getting a cab or the shuttles, gives you plenty of freedom

Golden Corral and Ponderosa Everything you want to eat, any time of the day - both are fantastic value and great for fussy kids.
